Lollie & Koa: All Grown Up!

Every one of these shots of Lollie and Koa are so precious to us... these will be one of the last few pictures of the original babies that we have grown to love so dearly! Soon they will be off to a cooler climate (their coats will be fabulous for sure!) and bid farewell to Singapore.


Lollie and Koa are quite the insane duo - they need only each other. But will gamely take on anything in their path. Big or small dogs - bring it on! :)

Koa will always be the more playful of the two... he's fast and crazy - pretty much all that you expect from a boy! We love how he greets us when we come in with all the shakes and wiggles that make us laugh :D

Lollie cannot be underestimated - she will be all sweet, loving and girly, but she has her moments too. Moments that remind us that she's a puppy and just as playful when it comes down to being with her brother!

Babies again!

Hello again to 2 of my favourite babies! The saddest part is that they won't be babies much longer! *Sobs* But for now we are just content to TRY and catch their youthful antics all over again.

This is Koa. To me, he's the cheekier of the 2! He's ever curious and will try to do things... like reach for the ball that's rolled behind the fan... or under the sofa (you can see the ball just behind him!)

He loves his sister, Lollie, and will always look to play with her. Play/Bully, well, that may the the same words to Koa! He'll pull her ears, tug her legs, jump all over her...

If you keep him away from Lollie, he will call for her - which is one of the most pathetic sounds that you can imagine!

And this is the "lady" of the 2, Lollie! Don't see her as a cute cuddle bunny - i know we do! She can play crazy too!

If she's not bring chased by her brother, Koa, she'll be the explorer and wander off to soem unknown corner of the room/garden. And she'll come zooming back, very excited by her new find - probably a leaf! Haha :D

This is Lollie teasing Charlie, our senior lab staying here. They zoom around him like he's a mountain in the hallway! But Charlie (bless him) is a patient old man with the young ones flying past him... either that or he just doesn't want to move! :P

Puppies Playtime!

Some things just can't be captured in still pictures - movement is far more expressive :) either that or puppies are just too active to be posing for proper photographs. So here are videos of our favourite little ones. The ones above are of Lollie and Koa having a good time in the yard playing by themselves... (p/s: there is no sound, so there's nothing wrong with your speakers!)

And there's even more fun with there are additional playmates! Watch Lollie & Koa go a little crazy when we put Sassy & Virdel in the picture. Lollie is trying to get Sassy to play with her but instead catches the attention of Virdel (who is half her size)!

Virdel & Sassy are really kicking up a storm! Watch as Sassy catches a near miss with the both of them zipping by on either sides... but does that scare her even a little? Heck, no! When everyone is taking a breather, Sassy is gamely teasing Lollie to chase her. Cheeky little girl!

We are gonna miss these 2 soooo much! We've seen them grow since there were babies... and now we have to part ways as they head off for their next adventure in the United States!

My Dear Koa, his heart is bigger than all of him combined! He's wary of strangers, but if you give him time, he will make up for it by loving you in double amounts :D He's our crazy boy that licks our feet whenever we walk pass!

Lollie is in mid-roll - but her shaggy do' is also in preparation for the colder weather when they reach their destination. Travel safe - I wonder if they have doggy Duty Free? :D

Sassy & Virdel

BABIES IN THE HOUSE! :D :D :D

Sorry couldn't help myself. Babies just grow too fast! The previous babies that were here were Lollie & Koa, they are all big kids now (sobs!). So it's always great to have new little ones around the house!

Meet Sassy! She's a teeny-tiny Yorkshire Terrier. I think she's as heavy as a peanut! She loves her big brother Virdel and will follow him around, even if he bowls over her all the time.

"Sniff sniff... do you have FOOD??!!"

Sassy has a BIG voice when it comes to food time... there is no mistaking it! Haha! :D

Like all babies and young pups, they are INCREDIBLY difficult to take good still shots of. And just when you think you got THE perfect shot >>> you get this: backs to the lens. Typical :P

This is Virdel - and to me, he looks just like Harry when he too first came to us :) They are similar if you can count crazy-playful-puppylike-nonstop zooming-go-go-go as being the same. Watch their video here. We love him! (He's a Griffon Brussels, by the way)

Oh that tounge - is what makes Virdel too cute for words. How can you not gush over this little boy?

See? Even when he's doing a poop, he looks like he's thinking very hard about it!

Chewy

Ah - this is one of the reasons we love what we do: PUPPIES!!! Reminding me so much of Lollie & Koa :) Chewy is a 4 month old baby. He's too cute for words and really doesn't care much about the world around him - in a good way!

Check out his "East-West" eyes! Love it!

He'll happily play with the other dogs and call them to play by cheekily "barkbarkbark"-ing at them. But also content to be fully engaged in toys. A great independent nature! Next time we see him , we look forward to see him all grown up. Not too fast we hope!

Ok so exactly how DIFFICULT is it to take picture of two 5 month old puppies? Well, I'll say that we took many many frames in over 20 minutes... and these are the clear (focused) shots. Phew!

But hey, with those faces can you resist? :) They are such a ball of fun and play crazy together when they get out to run and tumble all over the house. You should see the other older dogs just stand aside and let these 2 youngsters get their groove on :D
