Bennie

Sometimes it's not all fun and play... some dogs do come in and need some time to adjust being in a new place.

Bennie is a young Retriever that was adopted by his current family in the past few weeks before coming to stay us. So we can understand that he was feeling a little worried.

But don't feel too sad for Bennie... these pictures were taken at the start of his stay and i can assure you that he broke out of sad cloud and played with the other dogs! He is a young pup after all :)

Nikki & Scupi

Hmm... i seem to be posting in pairs :) We'll it's better with friends i say!

You remember Scupi? She's stayed with us in Race Course and now we welcome her again in Hillview :) She's such a good dog i think we let her get away with anything if she tried... but she doesn't!

"Maybe profile is better? All serious ya?"

And Nikki too has been with us many times! So much so i think she knows exactly what she can get away with... haha.

It's THIS face that wins us over all the time... now if only we can stop her police-dog behavior... :P

Otto & Hamilton

Sometimes when you get 2 crazy playful characters in the same room, it's just easier to sit back and watch the fun unfold!

Here's Otto! A handsome Boxer with a loving personality. He likes nothing better than to lean into you and get a butt scratch in the process!

"Play with me?"

When Otto meets Hamilton, i'd bet you a box of treats not to laugh at the both of them. Even captured in still picture, they make me laugh!

"Here's looking at you kid"

This one says it all - Happy HaPpY HAPPY Hamiltion!

Goodbye to Our Best Man

I had to make the hard decision to put my 20 year old boy, Lucky, to cross over to a better place. He was the kindest, gentlest soul that i know. Everyone was a friend and he never had a bad bone in his body. I am incredibly happy that he came into my life and touched many others along the way. All that met him have nothing but great things to say. I can only hope and know that we touched him just as much.

Be free and let your tail wag all day. You earned it!

Ellie

I think of Ellie and i can only laugh :D What a joker this Chihuahua is! Full of spirit and fire, he's a tiny ball of fun! Here's he's resting in his bag and i can't help to sneak a shot of a "rare" moment when Ellie is NOT moving!

And here's what he thinks of me taking pictures in his downtime!

Can't you tell that i just wanna hide away?!

Molly & Millie

Another (dynamic) duo! :P These 2 ladies are Border Collies and as sweet as can be. One is the introvert and the other is the extrovert... let's see if you can guess who is which!

A high 5 from Molly!

And also in your face: MOLLY!

Guessed it yet? ;P

Woofy & Skippy

The face tells alot huh? Woofy is a shy Chocolate Labrador - quite unlike his breed. But when he warms up to you, he all happy and loopy, just like any other Lab!

Here comes Skippy with a toy - quite a permanent feature if you ask me :P She like to carry toys in her mouth! And is willing to share too.

Quite a duo don't you think? :)
