I trust you were singing along to his name! I always do :) Bingo is a senior (love em') and a very independent one at that. For several days, we didn't hear him and he didn't see us... he's a blind old man. But when he finally figured out what was happening on the other side of the wall, boy, he let us know that he wants to be with the others. NOW!

(and Bingo was him name-o)

Dougal

Dougal is one Westie puppy that is always looking the next new friend or even bouncing off by himself. He can't decide if Lassie or the tennis ball is more interesting :)

So here's Dougal very keen on taking the plunge in the pool... but he's wondering about the fish in there too: Friend or Foe??

Oh what the heck *SPLASH* and in he goes! (at least the fish ain't scared of him) And he's really good at it too.

Post swim, this is the somewhat sleepy-face that we get - I wonder how long this will last before he back to his bouncy curious self again?

(Hint: not too long!)

Yogi & Lassie

Yogi is one that enjoys his space; even if it's under the stone table while his sister Lassie plays in the sunshine. Lassie is a calm Sheltand Sheepdog that is just happy being with other dogs and their company. So similar, yet so different :)

Chinese New Year 2013

Dear Doggie-Parents,

Boarding dates that pass through Christmas (from 17 Dec up till the New Year) are all filled - thank you! We will be looking forward to spending the holidays with familiar faces and saying good bye to some :) Of course there will be some newbies too.

Placements for Chinese New Year are now ready for booking - be quick - they will go fast! Next year's holiday falls on 10th (Sunday) and 11th (Monday) February 2013. Surcharges will apply for Boardings and DayCare that fall on/from the 8th (Friday) to 12th (Tuesday) February 2013.

Rates will be 1.5 times regular rates across the above mentioned dates:
Boarding Regular Rates / After Surcharges
Dogs:
$38 / $57.00

$45 / $67.50

Cats: $25 / $37.50
*rates are on a per-day basis

Confirmation will be required by 15 January 2013 and full payment by 25 January 2013.

Gracie & Beatrice

Looking more like sheep that has lost its way, Garcie & Beatrice are always welcome here ;) Both have become quite the ladylike poochies! Hard to believe we've seen them since 2007.

Helloooooo Bea - Can you see us??

How can you not fall totally in love with a do' like that?

Well, as ladylike as they appear, they have a good time putting on a show for us. Here they are at play a mere few minutes after the shots above were taken!

Pinky & Skippy

Dynamic Duo! As different as night and day actually. While Pinky is a dynamo that is forever happy (you can make anti-depressants from her aura), Skippy is, well, in the words of their owner, an emo type.

He's prone to moping and being sullen when he's not too happy about anything and will seek to hide out in his little plastic hut for a little solitude. So when we are able to see this side of Skippy, we cannot tell you how happy it made us!

They are enjoying the VIP Lounge area all to themselves - even though it started with a whining periods, they both settled in really nicely :)

Scupi & Alex

They say opposites attract. Well, there couldn't be more true with these two! Scupi is a long time gal that has seen us since the beginning. She will be starting the new year in another country, so we cherish the last few days we have with her.

And Alex is a boy who defies his age :) always looking for a companion to be friends with. And so Scupi and Alex get down to what they do best... spontaneous play and calm face to face sessions:

Atticus A Chillin'

I know I'm good looking ;)

Bouncy boy Atticus still has it in him. I have yet to find the spring the coils him and sends him bounding after the other dogs in play!

And yet when he finally lays back to relax (rarely) he looks like a lap dog - if your lap was big enough! What a smoosher (aka "I want to smoosh your face with love).

Yaya, Nubi, Luna & Yuki

 

Most of the time for these 2, this is going on... punctuated by barks and yelps of playfulness and feet scurrying across the floor while they chase each other around! 

Nubi is one fella that cannotkeepstill! Always happy to see you and greets with a wiggle that vibrates throughout his body.

Then it will all suddenly come to a stop where they will both lie flat on the floor panting their lungs out. Crazy boys!

This is Yaya - even with one eye with poor sight, he still gives it his all. He may bump (crash) into the furniture and the walls, but it doesn't faze him at all. This Bull Terrier is one tough cookie!

Balls are Yaya's absolute favourite and he will chase them for hours! A knotted rope ball is also good for tough jaws like his :) 

This is Yuki - Miss Chilli Padi. She's all nice and loving to you, but resists being carried if she can help it!

And this is Luna. No love lost between Yuki and her. They are on opposite ends of the room when we took these shots! Luna prefers to watch the world go by at the window. Probably dreaming of the birds that she's too lazy to catch!

Princess Peach & Hermione

If you're suddenly having a certain 80's video game tune in you head, you're not alone. It was playing in our heads too! This is Princess Peach - a feisty malti-poo who lacks no courage at showing anyone (dog or person) who's the boss. And she's protective of her sister: Hermione.

Or Minnie as she's called :) She's quite unlike most Chihuahuas we know. She's a little shy and takes a while to warms up to strangers. But she can be very fun and friendly once she knows you! And when the girls take to playing, watch out cuz they play hard. And yet, it's great to see these 2 gals have a good time.
