Yuta

Yuta is one of the larger (or largest!) Labrador that we have ever let check in... no no, we don't have a weight/size limit :)

He's quite the gentle giant - and he usually has a sad expression on his face. Even his mum said that he was weird and not like a happy springy Lab like most others.

He did spend the first couple of days being very moody and we could hear him sigh alot. But if you take the effort to engage him in play - wow, what a change we saw! He now howls and barks whenever he sees people coming into the house. Like a rousing welcome :D

He's truly a special boy and we are so happy that he let us into his (giant) world :D

Mambo and The Meow Meow

Meow Meow came to stay with us.... but wasn't overly impressed with any human contact. BUT when it comes to Mambo (that's MIBO's new kitten by the way), she quite friendly! And Mambo is such a tease... he'll stretch his paws into Meow Meow's cage to try and touch her and spins off when she approaches.

What fun! :D

What size is right for my dog?

Thundershirt comes in seven different sizes. See the table above to find the right size for your dog. Like people, dogs come in many different shapes and sizes, so if your dog has unusual proportions, you may need to go up or down a size versus the "standard" measurements. But the Thundershirt is designed to beveryadjustable to accomodate different dog shapes and still be easy to put on.

Can i wash and dry Thundershirt?

Thundershirt is made of durable, washable fabric. When necessary, Thundershirt may be washed in a regular cycle using regular laundry detergent and warm water. Hang to dry.

Is overheating a concern when using a Thundershirt?

Except in extreme conditions (over 32 degrees Celsius in the sun), overheating is not typically a concern when using a Thundershirt. Dogs cool themselves primarily through their mouths and paws, and a Thundershirt is constructed of a thin, breathable fabric. The state of Florida is one of Thundershirt's biggest markets. But if you feel that overheating might be a problem for your particular circumstance, please monitor your dog for any signs of overheating such as heavy panting or tongue hanging out of the mouth. Remove the Thundershirt if you see any signs of overheating.

How it Works

Daisy

Charlie in Lurrrve? :)

I know we're being biased when we post more of one dog than usual... We love Charlie, what can we do?! Especially when he starts behaving more like a teenager than the senior that he really is :P

We find that he likes his own kind - yellow Labrador! Here he is with Yuki; and we think that they have a special relationship :)

As you can see, he simply adores her... both tails are just wagging high and happy! :D Where she goes, he's right there beside her.

Claire

Claire-Bear!!! That's what I call her at least :P She's a 4 month old pug, so you can imagine all the baby talk that was going on when we met up during the Pet Vists to her place. You really can't take your eyes off of her, cuz she's really THAT cute.

Piper

Miss Piper... oooo boy, ooooboy, she's very happy to see you and will leap and jump and get your attention by nipping you! Is there such a thing called a love-nip?? Haha - but that's the way of the Chocolate Labrador. Always youthful and loving... even if it's in their own unique way!

Alex

We were quite worried when Alex came to stay... he wouldn't sleep for 2 nights! Well, he wasn't up watching the World Cup, but standing at the door waiting for his mum to come back. Awww... poor thing. But he finally caught some shut eye on the 3rd day. I guess when you have to sleep, you have to Zzzzz...

Otherwise, he was a really good dog once he settled in and got along well with the other dogs just fine. I can't wait to see how happy he will be to see his mum when he goes home!
