Boarding Rates @ MIBO (wef 1 Dec 2009)

In constantly looking for ways to provide better service and value for your dollar, MIBO is restructuring its boarding rates.

Small/Medium Breeds: $35/day

Large Breeds: $40/day

(with effect from 1 December 2009)

*All other admission criteria continue to apply.

The adjusted rate includes all walks and field outings during your dog's stay.

Presently, a medium dog's stay of 5 days ($150) with one park outing ($50) would total to $200. With the new rate, that would be only $175. A savings of $25. And your dog would surely enjoy more than one outing a week, at no extra cost to you! We are able to provide this to you as our new facility in Hillview has areas that are safe for dog walking and "freedom" runs :)

We are in the process of lining up more changes which include Birthday Parties and DayCare packages! We'll get our paws to it before the year is up... hot diggity dog!

Santa

Before you think we've lost our minds and wonder if it's Christmas, don't worry we know it's not that time of the year yet. But that doesn't mean we don't receive "presents" as cute as this guy here! Meet Santa:

He brings with him much joy and laughter with his quirky antics. You see, the 9 year old Pekingese is an oldie with much soul.

Lest you think he's all grouchy and grumpy (pictures don't do him justice), wait till you hold out on giving him his "cheese sticks" that he gets as a reward for getting his eyes cleaned. Oh we will remind you with a bossy little bark that translates to "what's the hold up?! Gimme my cheese sticks!"

With all that bundled in this little package, it's starting to feel like Christmas already! :D

National Day 2009

"Happy National Day!"

If you can't hear her, that's what Phoebe is saying :) Here's who stayed over for the festivities:

Rub A Dub Dub

There come a time when a certain odour fills the air... then the dreaded words are said:

"Bath Time!"

These were taken after the weekly shower :)

(top to bottom): Pepo, Oscar, Harry and Lady (right) take full advantage of the big fan to dry off.

And this is Kyzer, looking oh so cute. The one under the table is Angel, she's camera shy! And the resident elderly, Lucky is chilling on the bed.

Oh the Miss Lady - she would have you think we tortured her in to the bath!

All smiles now! Everyone is clean and happy - i know i am!

All the Little Ones

This is Tobi and he's grown into a big boy! :) But he's a good boy. He will still give a squeak when he's super happy and excited! And he learnt to be a big brother to...

... Wei Wei! He's a splitting image of Tobi when Tobi was younger. And they share the same personality and playfulness too! Happy and bouncy all the time. Tobi had his hands full :P

And this is tiny Rosebud. What a sweet name! And yes she is very very very tiny. She can squeeze through the baby gate type of tiny. Without any effort at all! I would describe Rosebud like a darting fish... just when you think you get close enough to get to her, ZIP! And she's out of reach.

So we had a group of small ones this time - they are a fun bunch to watch. Just be careful not to trip or squash anyone!

Rosebud: "We're the same size!"

Wei Wei: "No, you're smaller."

Rosebud: "Not if i do this! Hee..."

Wei Wei: "???"

Days are never Boring...

When you have Ume around! Or any youngster for that matter!

How do you choose? Toy, playmate, toy...? Why can't we do it all at once! At least that's what Ume tries to do :D

And if you can't get entertainment, find some! Ume is one brave puppy for taking on Phoebe :P

At the Dog Park with Solomon & Ume

It was a bright HOT (34c!!!) morning at the dog park. 

Here's (silly) Solomon:

But there's always the big job of sniffing around...

And Ume does it very well!

JJ

Another delightful senior! JJ is one of the sweetest boys that we have ever had here ;) Check out the size of those ears - HUGE!

He's ever curious and follows you around just to see what you are up to. But he's also an independent spirit and minds his own business!

Angel

Here's Angel (again!). These pictures REALLY don't do her justice. She's wary of that little grey box that I'm holding - the camera. Add that to her list with rain/thunderstorms and the vacuum cleaner. Other than that, she's a fireball! :)

Here she is at the dog park having a blast with Phoebe - there was alot of running, chasing, barking... all in good fun!

Mei Mei

Meet Mei Mei... she's 11 years old and very much a spirited gal! She's very animated and makes us all laugh with her antics.

"Whacha' looking at?"

She has this things that she does when you point your finger and talk to her... she bares her teeth and does a playful snapping motion. It's really funny!
