Mei Mei

Meet Mei Mei... she's 11 years old and very much a spirited gal! She's very animated and makes us all laugh with her antics.

"Whacha' looking at?"

She has this things that she does when you point your finger and talk to her... she bares her teeth and does a playful snapping motion. It's really funny!

Do come back soon!

Tobi

Finally we get proper shots of Mr-Fluffball, Tobi! Last time he was here, he was but a wee lil' puppy - how fast they grow! (see here)

"I've got something to say and i know you'll hear it!"
Tobi takes the prize for ear-shattering pitches. It really makes your eardrums rattle!!!

But all can be forgiven for THAT super cuddly face :P We say that cuteness can get you anywhere!

"Shh... this is my serious face."

"Ok, I'm bored now... are you done taking pictures??"

Saffie

This madam we call Miss Independent... while the rest were having their picture taken, Saffie sat right behind me, out of shot. That's her for you! She loves to play as always... but will be upset if the other dog doesn't play with her. And her philosophy is "What's yours is mine... What's mine, you don't take it!" :D

Good Friday Blessings

The gang's all here! :) This is a group who have been here before, so they all get along well.

That's Tobi (mini-poodle) near the gate... more pictures on this cutie!
And then moving down the corridor, we have Chucky, Pepo and Sisi.

Pepo: "Why does Chucky always get to be the cute one?"

Happy 9th Birthday Lady!

Yup the grand ole auntie is 9 years old this year - and her birthday falls in April. This year we made it on the 1st - April Fools!

We had to make her wait for her birthday treats - cheese muffins and chew sticks as candles! Look at that pathetic face!

Now you know why they have to wait... it's gone in no time at all!

This is big (size) sister having her share too!

And the candles are edible too - cool!

Happy Birthday Lady!
Many more years of greedy eating, loving cuddles, tummy rubs and whining like a bird! :D

Ruby

White ball of fluff... that was my first impression :) Ruby is a bichon frise - our first ever staying at MIBO! And we are glad to have her over.

She really likes the doggy friendships that she made while she was here: that's her with Hamilton! Oh and she really doesn't mind the resident cats at all - which gives her an A+ in our books :D

Harry - the guru

Oh how he has grown!! He's gone beyond all expectations and is now teaching the others how to behave... which is a laugh cuz he was one of the delinquents not that long ago! Well done Harry!

With all that maturity, thankfully, he still knows how to have a good time and plays well with everyone :)

A week of Outings

We do head out! Here are some shots from the past week:

Ume with her grey friend - needless to say everyone ended up all muddy... but very happy!

Trying to pose for a picture is very hard! Even when there is a helping hand - there's just too much going on :)

Ah - what a little food bribe can do.

Swimming day at the beach. The sun was super great that day - "splish splash, here we go!"

Things to do while on the beach: take other dog's toy and refuse to give it back (as seen here with Phoebe)...

... or roll in the good times while hitting the sand :D

Ume

Puppies! We love puppies!
A big warm hello and lots of kisses for this newbie.

When she first arrived, we weren't quite sure if she was going to break out of her shell and start playing. Well, that lasted all of about 10 minutes... then she was off!

As you can see from these pictures she's a playful one! She teases and makes Hamilton chase her round and round the place.

"We're happy and exhausted!" (at least i hope so!)

I got it, I got it! Come take it from me if you can! (video)

Tumbling Time! (video)

Hamilton

Ah what a big big boy... with equally big big eyes :) Welcome back Hammie! Still the happy wiggly Cavalier that we all know and love. We did have some teething issues - literally. But other than that, he's a joy to have. Sometimes just a little too much. Can we bottle it and put it out for retail? :P

"I have stars in my eyes!"

"Mememememe... TAKE me!"

Play time is waaaay more fun with someone else to tumble with! Here's Hammie with Ume having a fun time. (video)
