Snort snort snort... the classic sounds of a pug. Fina is one pug with a funny grin and playful nature. She loves to follow the boys ;) she teases them by spinning around and showing her curly tail!

Momo
Momo is one dog that is entertaining to watch - he climbs on top of bags and newspapers. It's his way of coping with the rain in the monsoon season. He whines for a companion and is very happy with any other dog as long as they are close together. Always interesting to discover new things about new dogs!

Chewy
What a whirlwind it was with this 6 month old gal!
She started out nervous, shy and curious. No one could get close enough to give her cuddles. With the great help of Nayla, who is the best baby sitter, she came out of her shell and started playing crazy and warming up to other people. Hopefully Chewy will learn to play politely with the help of the other dogs.
That's the best part of being a puppy! Play hard and pass out :D

Kayla
Kayla may have just met her match in terms of crazy puppy play! She loved to rough house and get everyone in a frenzy by chasing and running circles around them. When the others went home, she tried to get the other senior dogs to play, but they were not having none of this puppy nonsense.
Oh well, till next time Kayla!

Monty
Monty is generally still a puppy at heart and loves to have a game with the the other dogs if they will give him the time of day :P He's generally curious about things he hasn't seen before: like fish in a tank. The world through the eyes of a pup is a wonder!

Mei Mei
I know what you're thinking, "awww poor thing... is she ok?" Let me assure you, yes she's perfectly ok! Even more so, her foot is like a weapon that she uses to threaten the other dogs that cross her path. Mei Mei doesn't really care much about other dogs as you can tell - she is counting down the days till she is back in her Papa's arms!
She came with 2 family felines, but we missed the opportunity to capture a picture of them :(

Cassie
Cassie came with her new friend, Gizmo. Gizmo is a guinea pig and was quite shy to have his picture taken :D Cassie, on the other hand, was a busy bee and would check in on Gizmo when it was feeding time. And for an older lady, Cassie has lots of spunk!

Izzy
Izzy is a cockerpoo that LOVES her home and family. She had a hard time wanting to leave and we were worried that she would be sad when we got her back. Look at that smile! She loves to play ball and was a cheerful pup. But of course she was over the moon when we sent her home too :D

Cally & Holly
Holly (Miss Eyes!) and Cally look so alike, it would be easy to mistake them for sister siblings. And they share the same loving, playful nature that we delight in when dogs come to stay. It was very fortunate that their timing was such that they crossed paths :)

Hoshi
Usually when the dogs stay, they quickly adapt to the routine of feeding time, playtime, rest time, etc. Hoshi did not get the memo! He loves to be with people and will cry when the one on 2 legs exits the area for even a few minutes. Thankfully he's a cutie (good looks can get you anywhere) and is starting to play with a few select dogs.

Boy Boy
Boy Boy is a special guest - you can say we know him very well. He was a little disoriented when he first arrived: he's never met or seen other cats up close! But after 2 days, he settled in well and was asking (demanding) for attention and outside walking privileges :) yup, that's the Boy Boy that we know.

Pasha
Pasha is all sound and not much action :P He was not happy to be dropped off for his stay. And while his owners were saying their goodbyes, he was a grumpy ball of moodiness.
Cue to 1.5 days later.
"LOVE ME!
Hello cat neighbors - how are you, my name Pasha, can i be your friend?"
Cats are funny that way :D

Milka & Atticus
This is Milka: She's had a whirlwind adventure! From one country into Singapore, she was away from her owners for at least 2 months. They missed her so dearly. Thankfully, dogs generally live in the moment, and while she was a little shy at first, she quickly warmed up to making friends while she was here.
Milka & Atticus: Bosom buddies! |
Atticus is just so happy to have a female companion - he just loves the ladies!

Hoshi
Check out that smile! Ahhh... what can this guy do?
Overall he's a good dog - EXPECT when it comes to the dear ole' vacuum cleaner. Oh dear. It is his worst enemy. It cannot be near him, or in the same room, or on the same floor, or in the same house. Likely if it was on a different continent, only then it would be ok?
Otherwise, he likes to watch the birds that hang out in his VIP lounge area.
Hoshi: Till we meet again Mr Vacuum.

Jen
This girl brings us so much joy :D She started out quite shy and didn't come to us when we called her. But after several stays, she's a happy gal that likes her zone. Sometimes when us leave the doors open for her to come out, she's quite contented to stay indoors.
Always ready with a tail wag and a happy wiggle!

Midori
As a first timer at MIBO, you can never be sure how guests will react to their stay. Cats are usually reserved and in a "I hate the world" mode when they check in. So it's a particularly great feeling when they warm up and get all lovey dovey with us. Midori was never going to be a reserved cat :) He was quiet on the first day, but came to seek affection quickly. In the end, he was ok to have a quick wander around and make a few friends.

Ceasar
As far as seasoned guests at MIBO goes, Ceasar would be right up there on the long-time-always-welcomed list :)
He's still the same Ceasar, though the years are starting to catch up. Phoebe and him still enjoy a playful romp whenever they pass by each other!

Toby & Ella
Oh how we love these 2! True to Great Dane nature, they are quite possibly THE SWEETEST dogs. They love to rub up against you, lean on you, push you over, step on your feet... with babies as large as them, you cannot escape their lovin'!
Toby gets nervous about the rain (bad time during the monsoon season!) but entertains us all with his quirky antics. Like digging a small pit in the garden and then looking like he never did it :D
Ella is an all around good girl! Both love to play with other dogs, which truthfully are just dwarfed against them. But they are quite literally gentle giants and the smaller ones simply zip around their long legs.
