Chopper

Like all puppies, Chopper is one young one that is difficult to keep still! But we have learnt that usually if you let them play to their hearts content, they will eventually slow down. Somewhat.

And so he does - in front of the fan. He's more of a fan hogger if you ask me ;)

Playful as he is, Chopper has had to learn that no all dogs are up for a game everytime! That's growing up for you. And he's managed pretty well with good manners throughout.

Here we go again,

Serang

Serang has got to be one of the nicest cats  to stay here :) He such a super chilled and relaxed boy that even having to pill him twice a day is a breeze. A joy even! He's doesn't mind when the other cats come up to his space and check the newcomer. And when he does get to have a stroll in the room (quite often - that's what good cats get) he just like to lie there and enjoy his moment of freedom.

What's not to love! :D

A MIBO Update

A warm hello to all MIBO Fans,

I thought that I should take a little time to sincerely thank everyone and every dog, cat, and rabbit that has come through our doors. The experience in the past 5 years (!!!) has been amazing. There have been ups and downs, mostly enjoyable moments and some heart-breaking losses. You have been with me (us) all this time and friendships have been formed. For that, a little appreciation is in order don't you think? ;)

For the Month of May 2012, if you are an existing customer, we are rewarding you! :D

New things to note in 2012:

Our boarding rates have been adjusted since September 2011, existing clients have till end of March 2012 to enjoy their current rate. From 1st April 2012, dog boarding rates are $38 to $40/day for small/medium breeds. $45 for large breeds. (This rate is for sterilised dogs).


There is no change for cat boarding at $25/day


We will be scaling back operations gently in 2012: we are looking to some changes in the year ahead; good ones! So bear with us while we go through this new phase:


We will be giving more priority to existing clients, especially traditionally peak seasons, as their pets are used to our environment and we do enjoy seeing familiar faces. But I do stress (again) to plan ahead, so as to be fair to the others who may be kept on a waiting list (you know how anxious it is when there is no place for your pets!).


New clients, you're not left out! I sincerely apologise if you can't get to stay with us when you do ask, but please keep trying. We do take in a few new faces, even over the popular seasons, just so you know :)


For Christmas 2012 we will require that all clients make a 50% deposit upon booking their spaces. This will be non-refundable. This is to ensure that the booking/confirmation process is fair and available for all.

MIBO Travels!

R(oada) & R(ockie)

Remember Roada? Yup he's now a bigger kitten :) Still with the same loving personality, but can play crazy with people!

Checking the world outside

Roada doesn't really know what to do with this toy - let Rockie (right) show you how it's done!

Although they are both from different owners, they get along just fine. They can can mingle and interact without any problems. It doesn't suit all cats, but when it works out, it's just great to see :)

From a personal view, Rockie is still the leader here. Mostly because he's older and his previous home was as a neighbourhood cat.

George

This is George of the Urban Jungle. He's a 9 year old Norwegian Forest Cat and at first when we met he was all aloof and quiet. I didn't think I would get a great welcome with meows and "I will follow you around"s :) He's a big snuggle kitty and response well to attention given. 

Now if only he will let me brush him...

An Unlikely Friendship

Some dogs are just not good with others. Roxy is good with all dogs. Linda, not so. So when these 2 come in, we keep them apart. But Roxy has other things in mind: 

Like hogging the sofa! But Linda is Queen (or so she thinks!) and also wants the coveted red seat. So what to do?

It's this thing called SHARE. You take that end, and I'll stay on this side. Dogs are amaze us all the time :D Good girls!

Happy

As his name goes, Happy is as happy can be! This cutie Pomeranian has a character all of his own. His friend is Ronnie but quite different from him. Happy talks a bit, spins crazy circles, "smiles" at you and is generally a bouncy chap. 君はいい子です!
