Alex

We were quite worried when Alex came to stay... he wouldn't sleep for 2 nights! Well, he wasn't up watching the World Cup, but standing at the door waiting for his mum to come back. Awww... poor thing. But he finally caught some shut eye on the 3rd day. I guess when you have to sleep, you have to Zzzzz...

Otherwise, he was a really good dog once he settled in and got along well with the other dogs just fine. I can't wait to see how happy he will be to see his mum when he goes home!

Sesame

What a lucky little girl! That's what Sesame is :) She was one of the (many) dogs that had to be rehomed from the puppy farm that closed. And she's found a new home with Scandalous! What a cool match.

She's such a GOOD GIRL! So happy to see her play with balls and toys, carrying them around in her mouth and entertaining herself. I've never hear her bark... growl maybe, but only to Miss Poot who walks up to her have bangs her with her hard hat... Haha! I guess sibling rivalry will always be present :P

Toby

Goodness... does a dog get any cuter than this boy? :) But he's really a big dog in a tiny body - and he will have you on his team any day (so you can protect him)

But we are in the process of making Toby a well-rounded individual and being able to get along with all sorts of dogs. And not just the ones he can bully!

Lollie & Koa

Ok so exactly how DIFFICULT is it to take picture of two 5 month old puppies? Well, I'll say that we took many many frames in over 20 minutes... and these are the clear (focused) shots. Phew!

But hey, with those faces can you resist? :) They are such a ball of fun and play crazy together when they get out to run and tumble all over the house. You should see the other older dogs just stand aside and let these 2 youngsters get their groove on :D

Tyler

So did the doe eyes make you go AWWWW? Haha - I'm sure that's all in Tyler's plans to make you think he's the angel around here!

Well, what you don't see in these pictures is the fast, springy, i-will'take-your-slippers-when-you're-not-looking, typical playful puppy behaviour that you'd expect of a 7 month old Japanese Spitz!

I think he was a fluffy bunny rabbit in a previous life... well at least he behaves like one, especially when bouncing through the front yard!

Sorry, I have to get back to the BIG job of checking the toys... make sure they are up to scratch to play (destroy) with!

Soda

Isn't that face just precious?? Yup we think so too. And it's true, Soda is a great Shih Tzu as well, he gets along well with all the other dogs, loves to play, eats and sleeps well too! Oh and he hardly barks - except when he really wants something, like to go on his walks!

As you can see - he's made himself right at home with us. Which is what we love to see! BUT (were you waiting for that? :P ) he was challenging only when you tried to carry him... he would try to snap and tell you that he really has no appreciation for what you are doing, thank you very much. And it wasn't something that we could have foreseen as well cuz he was just so well behaved when he came by! Oh well, sometimes you win big and most times you count your blessings for all the good that comes with the dog :)

Scupi

Ah, do not let her calm, relaxed mannerisms fool you! Scupi is one lively gal! And boy does she have a variety of emotions too. When she comes over for the first day, she's all gloomy, moody and withdrawn. Trust me, it really is an act. After a good night's sleep, she's a different dog!

She absolutely loves to play with the smallies and will bounce around trying to chase after them. No, she really doesn't scare them cuz i think the others don't really know what to make of her... Big? Medium? Tall? Fast? Slow? Yup, she that versatile! 

On that note, just when you think she can't spring any more surprises on you (she's stayed several times already), she pull a quick one and decides that she REALLY loves the garden. Haha - i shall not reveal exactly what she did... :P

Solomon

Already 3 years old and STILL as loopy as always! Solomon always makes us laugh out loud with his clownish behaviour. And yes he still drives Phoebe crazy chasing after her! She really likes that she can rough-house with the big red boy. It gets really loud when both of them are in the middle of play :D Sigh... i hope he never grows up!

Nana

"Who me?", that's Nana's expression, isn't it? :) We were told that this corgi was not friendly with other dogs and had a tendency to snap at them when approached. We try to give all dogs a chance to prove themselves to us, and boy are we glad that we did!

Yes she can be reserved and snappy... but only in the beginning! After she's taken a sniff of all the dogs in the house, there's never been any animosity since. Well done Nana!

Hamilton

Cuz he's so special when he comes here, he gets an EXTRA LARGE picture just to showcase how we love him! He does remind us of Rufus... always happy to a fault. We secretly think that he's waaaay smarter that what he lets us believe. Then again, with that face he can pretty much fool us all!
