Long Term Boarding

When you need a place for your pet(s) to stay for an extended period of time, MIBO can help. We provide all the comforts of home to you to keep you at ease.

At our Long Term Boarding programme, we offer long term stays for families in transition. The thought of leaving them for an extended period is heartbreaking. Sometimes circumstances beyond our control forces us to away for an extended period. Would it be nice to know that your beloved pet was well cared for, loved and nurtured just as if they were at home?

There are many reasons an owner might need to be away from their pet:

  • Job related training or deployment
  • Illness or hospitalisation
  • House on the market and unable to find suitable accommodations that allow pets
  • Overseas Jobs
  • Pet Quarantine requirements (transit from one country to another)
  • Relocation (either for a short duration or not feasible to bring for your pet with you)
  • Death - main caregiver dies and family makes special arrangements ahead of time
  • Disability
  • Long vacations
  • Dog Retirement (see also Lifetime Care)

We are committed in providing you pet a safe loving home and making sure that you never have to worry about your pet. We stay in touch through email, send photos, videos, whatever you need and as often as you need. If you are still in the country and are free to visit and we’ll even help arrange a special outing.

Whatever we can do to help make this difficult time easier we will.

Rates for dogs include:
  • Basic shower once a week (not applicable to long and/or double coated breeds)
  • 2 walks a day
  • Flea and tick application once a month
  • Flea and tick spray once a fortnight
  • Food provided
30days block : from $1400

------------------------------------------------------------------------
Rates for cats include:
  • Free roaming at selected times of the day in a safe secure area
  • Food provided

For stays more than 6 months, full payment upfront is required for 12 months and any unused portion during this period will be returned to you.

Do note that long term board refers to stays of 30days or more. All other admission criteria are required prior to check in - see here for dog boarding or cat boarding.

MIBO Christmas Paw-ty!

We decided to be brave this year and hold a Christmas party for the dogs (and their humans) AND celebrate Phoebe's 4th Birthday also! Wow what a day... here's a snapshot of the day in progress :)

Decorations were up early for Christmas and it really made the place feel the festive atmosphere! (am glad to report that all decorations, including the Christmas tree, survived :P )

And a birthday wouldn't feel the same without balloons and banners!

"Am so glad you came! Did you see my cake?" *drools*

"It's yummilicious liver and cream cheese!"

"Hurry up... or i help myself?"
"I get first taste of course"

"They THEY insist that I share... what is that about??"

"Oh well at least my friends were happy! Let me show you who turned up at the party..."

Wendy - Miniature Dachshund. She lives on top of humans :P

Gracie & Beatrice - long time friends :) So happy to see them again!

Hamilton - A Cavalier King Charles Spaniel (also known as Forever Happy!)

Loofy - A Cocker Spaniel, very excitable and a greedy one too!

Bubbles - my family's dog; a party with family is always the best!

Otto - A Boxer... and quite the poser for the camera too!

Oscar - Australian Terrier. Only one shot here cuz he's our dynamic dynamo! Zipzipzip!

Tia - Sheltie. Our lovely older gal, still has the spunk to keep up with the rest. You go Tia!

Otto: "Is it over??" *sighs*

See more photos of the party at out MIBO Fan page on Facebook!

We'll be happy to let you have our place for your parties! Just email us with you details and we'll make it a memorable one for you and your guests.

Tux

We were a little surprised at the invitation that said "Dresscode: Formal"

Who knew that they actually meant that a Tux would be sent our way! Haha! And what a goofy character to be wearing a "tux" :P

See what i mean?

Tux in stealth-mode (*psst we can still see you*)

Belly rubs at the gate: there's never a wrong place!

Tiny Tim(my)

We've missed this lil' fella - it's been 2 years since we last saw him. He's grown, but just a wee bit! Still as shy as before, but he still surprises us now and then. Feisty one, showed us who's the boss when it comes to deciding when to come and go (he is).

But seriously - could YOU ever get mad at that face?? Cutie! :D

Rime

What you think you see, is not always what you get. In the case of Remi, i did think that i was getting a shy little fella that was a little anxious. So naturally one would assume that Rime wouldn't have an appetite for his food...

WRONG! See the big button nose? That is a weapon for inhaling food! :P Before the bowl hits the ground, the food is G-O-N-E. Haha! It was amazing to watch: "Now you see it; Now you don't!"
