Sumo

First off - this is one SUPER LOVING cat! He cannot get enough of you and your feet, as you walk through his place. I think we possibly tripped over him too many times as he twirls around our legs!

See how nice and relaxed he is. This is usually after you give him a good brush down - yes he actually loves to be groomed!

A mini work out before returning to what he settles into...

All stretched out!

Chako

Am ashamed to admit it, but we do stereotype certain breeds... but we are always glad to be proven wrong!

Chako is one of the sweetest schnauzers to stay with us. She's a small-sized gal with a dash of spunk thrown in. At first meeting, she looks like the type that will be shy and cuddly when asking for attention.

Well, cuddly she is - she hops right into your lap when you're not watching :) Shy? Noooooo....! She loves meeting new dogs that come in and will have a sporty session of play. It can actually look like crazy play. Chako is a pint sized dynamo!

And when she did start talking, it was in a high pitched *yawn* more than anything else. How's that for cute?

Wawa

This must be "Rejuvenate Your Youth" week. Wawa is also another senior that stayed the same time as Alex. (We saw Wawa a while back here.) While Wawa is not as playful as Alex is, he's no wallflower either!

He watches from the cosy place under the shelf; then when everything is nice and calm, he pokes his head out, twitches his stubby tail and starts to nosy around. Quite a smart fella huh? No rough-housing for him. He likes it civilised, thank you very much :P

Alex

Experience has taught us not to underestimate the seniors... and Alex proves us right :) He may be on the older side, but he's always game for a play with the others. He even gives us a good run when we try to grab him for a s-h-o-w-e-r!

I'm lookin at you - yeah YOU.

Most of the time Alex will be minding his own business and just hanging around. Until a potential friend comes along! Then he will spring into playful banter :) I wonder where's his fountain of youth?

New Outing Options

Introducing Run in the Sun & Splash in the Sun during your dog's stay.

This takes place in our enclosed dog run with a pool, all for exclusive use!

A few times a week, in the late mornings and late afternoons, we take selected doggies to have a good stretch and run around to their hearts content. We bring toys and let them socialise with play time in the outdoors. Fresh air and sunshine always makes a dog happy!

And what if your dog is a water pooch? You can also opt for swim sessions in our personal pool. Even if you think your dog can't swim, we will be there to guide him with encouragement to ensure that he has a safe and fun time. Your dog's like a duck? He can have his own aqua session and kick away!

Run in the Sun: $30
Swim in the Sun (which will come naturally with Run in the Sun)$50
Rates are on a per outing basis and include a post activity shower.

Happy National Day!

Hope you have as much fun as Linda does!
We've been busy creating a space for the dogs to stretch out, play and have a good time. And while there are still things to be done, some dogs have been giving it a test run (literally!). This space will be available as a value added option upon request for dogs that stay with us.

Can you see where Yaya is?

The space is rustic: we decided to leave it quite bare to ensure that it remains easy to keep clean. It is semi-shaded, and has a great breeze passing through most of the time! If dogs could hang hammocks, there would already be a few between the wooden stakes holding up the shade :)

Also in the process is a pool for them to have a swim in - Linda is test checking for leaks as the pool fills up. Stay tuned for more pictures!
