Oscar

Oscar and Phoebe are best playmates! Lots of roughhousing when these 2 are together. So to get these pictures - i had to make sure that Phoebe was out of the house. Ever playful, he likes to "kill-the-toy" shaking it crazily with fluff flying all over. This energtic Austrailan Terrier spins and flies through the air!

Wha'cha got there?

It wasn't me! The rug cleaned itself on me...

Aww... check out that big black button nose!

Thanks to Dog Walkies for the intro!

Toby

Me = Queen

Where do the spots start and Toby Begin?

This super lady is like 2 of my own dogs (Lady and Lucky) combined in one! Toby's an 11 year old American Cocker Spaniel but still fiesty in her own way. Does not like it when other dogs play too rough with each other - taking on the role of policedog :) Although she may have a list of medical conditions longer than my Christmas list, she wins you over with those eyes!

She loves balls and toys and FOOD!!! Great to take you for walks and have you stay over with us.

I want THAT toy... anyone going to help me? No?? (!!!)

I'll help myself then... *dig dig dig* it's right there... have to get into the box!

There it it! *cheers for Toby!*

Prince & Sara

They either look like they are up to no good... or just plain blur. I believe the latter :D Prince in his white armour (coat) is more introverted and likes to keep tabs on you. Sara, on the other hand, looks quite comical with her shorter legs. But with her independent streak, i don't think she really cares. Oh and the ears are naturally one up, one down. Super funny!

Beta & Bingo... all grown up!

My my my... time sure files! Check out these two! Bingo (above) is a-happy-go-lucky girl and ever ready for a tummy rub too. And the super cutie is in Beta (below). Gosh. Still fairly shy... she takes a while to take in her surroundings and leaves the investigating to big sister, Bingo.

See their first stay with us.

Jock

"Hello Jock, can you see me?" He reminds me of Ruff, the dog from Dennis The Menace cartoons. See any resemblance?

This gentleman is is quite a laugh. His laid back nature could fool anyone (sure fooled me at first!). But at certain intervals during the day, this Aussie Terrier cross will burst into spontaneous play... bouncing all over the house with glee. Very silly indeed.

I caught him once sneaking his leash and collar from his bag and sleeping with it... awww. Very sweet, i've nicknamed him Mr Shagadidoo. I'm sure he doesn't mind :P

Royce

"Play with me... play with me... c'mon!"
That's the delightful Royce! An energetic Border Collie that just wants to, well, play. Lucky for him then that Phoebe was glad to reciprocate. The again, i think she was more interested in Royce's toys. He's a gorgeous lad and it was a joy Pet Sitting him :)
See you again!

Pepper

Pretty Pepper!
It's hard to tell which side was the front with this handsome Shih Tzu boy. Playful and gets along with others, he even started to talk to the resident rabbit and chinchillas.

Cherry

Where's Cherry?

Why, look down and 9/10, there she is! :D This 8 month old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is a manja (very affectionate) girl... will prefer to sleep in your lap if possible. Always happy with tail always wagging, she's such a joy.

Cherry is on DayCare with us and we look forward to seeing her more!

Cherry: Oui, why she can take so much sofa space?

Davka

All hail Queen Davka!

First day she came, she was shy and slightly reserved. But come second day, she told us who's the boss... even Phoebe was no longer the alpha dog. And that's saying something! Nobody does anything without the Queen knowing and giving consent.

But this elderly lady is not all that serious. Davka has a goofy side too! She will show off toys when she greets you in the morning, when coming home or when she simply wants to play. She even got along with the other dogs even though she didn't like ones that move too fast :)

With thanks to Dog Walkies for the intro!

Boarding @ MIBO - Value Added Services

At MIBO, we strive to cater to our client’s (both 2 and 4 legged!) requirements. From your suggestions and feedback, we are delighted to present the following Valued Added Services to you.

For your convenience we included the following frequently requested services:

Outings
Food & Treats
Grooming
Flea & Tick Prevention

Outings
Run in the Sun & Splash in the Sun
This takes place in an enclosed dog run and access to the beach!

A few times a week, in the late mornings and/or late afternoons, we take selected doggies to have a good stretch and run around to their hearts content. We bring toys and let them socialise with play time in the outdoors. Fresh air and sunshine always makes a dog happy!

And what if your dog is a water pooch? You can also opt for swim sessions at the beach. Even if you think your dog can't swim, we will be there to guide him with encouragement to ensure that he has a safe and fun time. Your dog's like a duck? He can have his own aqua session and kick away!

Run in the Sun: $40
Splash in the Sun (which will come naturally with Run in the Sun): $70
Rates are on a per outing basis and include a post activity shower.

Food
We provide dog kibbles at no extra charge!
You are also welcome to bring your dog's own food to prevent any tummy upsets from any short term change of diet. But if you would like us to provide his meal for him, we will feed your pet’s regular meal, just like how he has it back home whether it's home-cooked or otherwise.

This includes Home Cooked Food (HCF) complete with raw ingredients and preparation process (cooking – boiled or steamed, chopping, peeling, etc). If your dog is on a Bones and Raw Food (BARF) diet, we will also be happy to accommodate.

Do note that if you are providing food for your dog, we recommend that you pack a sufficient amount for the whole duration of his stay. This is to prevent an upset tummy and even unforeseen allergies as their system gets used to a new brand of kibble. (note: If your dog runs out of his/her commercial dog food, we will be glad to purchase replacements from the pet shop of our choice. Any discounts given by the pet shop will be absorbed by us as a token for our running fee - you will be required to pay the recommended retail price.)

As for treats, gosh, where do we begin? The list is endless! If your dog absolutely loves something, we will try to stock up the kitchen with his choice :) Also, if your dog cannot consume anything in particular, just let us know.

Grooming (as charged by groomer - check with us)
If your dog will be staying with us for more that 5 days, this would be a worthwhile option to consider. Upon consultation with MIBO, we will be able to advise you if your dog will be considered for a refreshing bath or a basic grooming. Grooming will be carried out by a professional (outsourced - not us!), so your dog will be in good hands.

We do not offer the option of full grooming, as we know that most clients will already have an established relationship with their dog’s personal groomer.

We provide showers at no extra charge for dogs that stay for 5days or more. Do note that we are unable to accommodate double coated/large breeds/complex coats as we are not trained groomers and do not have the tools (professional blower/dryer). Some of the breeds that we do not cover are long coated Shih Tzus, Malteses (and similar), full coat Shetland Sheepdogs, Huskies, Samoyeds, Golden Retrievers (and similar).

Flea & Tick (F&T) Prevention
We offer Spot On applications, Spray On applications and De-ticking Dip & Bath to all dogs.
  • Spot On applications take a minimum of 24 hours to be effective and are therefore effective for dogs that stay for 3 days or more. ($10 per tube; large breeds require 2 tubes)
  • Spray on applications can be applied upon check in (complimentary) or 2 days before going home or as an added prevention with existing flea & tick preventions. ($10 per application)
  • De ticking Dip & Bath is best carried out a minimum if 2 days before going home, so that existing ticks (if any) can die. (as charged by groomer - check with us)
For the best prevention against fleas and ticks, do ensure that your pet has a form of treatment in in effect at least 1 week before they check in.

Do note that even with all levels of prevention, fleas and ticks are opportunists. You may discover ones that “hang on” to your pet even if he does not venture outdoors. F&T may hang on to our clothes, shoes, other pet’s fur, etc, in their search for the right host. So if your pet is protected, F&T won’t be hanging on for long and eventually expire (die).
